Helm AI is already a commercially available enterprise AI platform. This project develops, certifies and commercialises the dedicated enterprise AI hardware that carries it into physical workspaces.

What the grant funds
No funding is requested for AI software development. The Helm AI platform, its models, orchestration engine and enterprise integrations are already operational and in commercial use. This grant is for productisation and commercial readiness of Malaysian-owned enterprise AI hardware.
Enterprise AI still depends on screens.
Despite rapid advances in AI, adoption inside enterprises remains inconsistent because AI is still accessed through browsers, chatbots and mobile apps. Employees must remember to open it, paste information in, and execute follow-ups by hand.

Engineering documentation and product vision
Both appliances are already defined at industrial-design level: dimensioned mechanical views, port and I/O arrangement, mounting interface, full specification tables and deployment vision imagery. The grant funds the engineering path from these drawings to certified, manufacturable product.

Hardware gross margin at production volume is approximately 80%, before the recurring subscription revenue each device generates.
Three-year outlook, deliberately conservative
Projections assume deployment through the existing Helm AI enterprise sales channel, with hardware driving subscription growth. Average customer takes 2 × Helm Meet and 15 × Helm Dock at an average subscription of RM 5,500 per month.
By Year 3, subscription revenue overtakes hardware revenue — demonstrating a scalable SaaS business with a hardware distribution advantage, rather than a hardware-only company. Hardware gross margin remains at approximately 80% throughout.

Helm Edge combines enterprise-grade hardware with Helm AI to transform conversations into completed work. This end-to-end execution capability, coupled with dedicated enterprise hardware, creates a differentiated category that extends beyond conferencing devices or standalone AI assistants.
Productisation and commercial readiness
Every ringgit is directed at hardware engineering, industrial design, manufacturing readiness and market launch. None is directed at AI software development.
The requested grant will be used almost entirely for hardware engineering, industrial design, manufacturing readiness and commercialisation. Helm AI software development, AI models and core engineering resources are already in place and are not part of this funding request.
